Physical Marathon #2

The Physical Marathon continues! There will also be a post tomorrow about this (but if you read the most recent first you have already seen it) This post is late, this isnt the current model i have but i forgot to take photos so here is a progression but not the most recent one, here is the model at its second last stage.

at this point i was happy with it, happy is used lightly.. i wasnt proud of the work but i knew it wasnt far from being at the stage where i was, the main imporvement from the last one is the addition of the hair. The hair here was done by making 3 strips and plating them, it has the same effect that the zBrush one does, I had to use 2 different stands to allow the hair to solidify in the position i wasnted to. the one dissapointment with the hair was that it was too thin at the room, the plait doesnt have a noticable size difference. i didnt notice this at the time but i tried to add form around the eye sockets bone but it looks like he is angry, fail.. I used a scalple to cut into the clay to make the hair strokes on the end and also the main hair.
