Creature Bio. #2

Questions:

Why doesnt the Versogenu not have any lips the cover its teeth? There are multiple reasons for having lips, i will explain each one in comparison first, one use of lips is to help with food intake, but the versogenu places its food directly into its mouth as a Panda does, also as it doesnt eat 'slippary' or other tectured food lips are not nessessary for this animal. Another reason for lips is for it to be used as a sensory organ, the Versogenu doesnt have eyes but an extremely heightened sense of smell this makes the lips being a sensory organ not needed. The lips are also used for protection from bactiera in the mouth of the Versogenu but as its teeth have no physcial gaps their teeth then become there protection. And the final reason i will explain is we humans use them so we can pronounce b, m, p, and w. the Versogenu doesnt need to make these sounds as it communicates using different pitch levels of noice.

What is used to tie their hair together? What tends to be used to connect there hair is vines, altough these creatures may be blind there sense of touch is incredible allowing them to feel the difference between very similar textures. they are curled around the hair and then twisted to become stiff. these vines do not remain there for a long time but is quickly added back on after.

who doesnt the Versogenu have any claws? Claws are primary used for things such as digging and fighting. the Versogenu uses its head to primarily fight and doesnt need to dig, the reason for the Versogenu doesnt have claws is simple; it doesnt need them.
