Oh god okay so this post will mainly just be images with little explaination.
Here are all the alphas I have gathered, originally i had 2 different posts to make but i cant remember which alphas I got first as they are all in the same folder. Well you can see there is skin hair and bone attempts here, some is normal skin some it more rough texture skin, for the bone it is mainly rock textures because well its impossible to find a texture of a bone, the bone one will hjave cracks, there are detail ones like wrinkles and also the hair ones are pretty basic. A few of the alphas havent been blurred around the edges but that is fine as when tested wasnt liked. The next post will show some of these alphas tested on my model.

Exposed Bone REAL placement.
NO INTRODUCTION!
Just jumping into it, here is the places of the exposed bone one my model.
Here is all the places the exposed bone will be and well already is!
Head around the jaw and back side of the face
Elbows
Knees
Heel
This are the places the exposed bone will be. there is a clear pinch around the exposed bone expect on the heel and a segment on the heads back side bone. The reason these were choicen was because of them being the main joints within its group, though there is the pelvis, shoulders ect but I prefered them to be left how they was.
The exposed bone will be a different colour to any other part of the model.

Physical Marathon #4
The marathon is still being run.
Now in this post their wont be as much as their normally is.
This post is just covering the detail added the the bands. I believe after a few more tweaks the shoulders will be able to be put on. Here is the hair bands, the top one was shown in the previous post but more detail has been added making it more curved and smooth in appearance and phyically. The main difference I can show is the bottom band, The lower band wasnt easy to carve into at all, I found it hard to do as the hair is so fragile i didnt want it to break off; so i asked Drew, he said how i should have the head resting on the table and use my thumb to support the part I was carving, this worked and eventally wasnt as worried, although I was still nervious about it breaking I had to apply more force to make the right cuts. Thankfully nothing broke. Next I believe I will be adding detail to the hair on the ponytail and roots then adding the shoulders.

Physcial Marathon #3
The physical sculpting continues!
And hits another Milestone!
Okay so now the detail has begun, the form for the head has been completed, and i swear based on the first image it looks weird but looks better in real life! well anyway I have been working long and hard on this, firstly sculpting it while it is hard was alot easier then expected and my prefered way to work. The whole model has been sanded down, which took SOOOO long but is not smooth and well yeah smooth lol. Firstly I will speak about the teeth. here are the finished teeth, how it started was i had to make more room within the mouth to put the teeth in so I had to carve the clay out, started on the left side and I ended up going through the play into the foil, this isnt a problem as there was gonna be teeth put over it, i made all within the mouth the same distance in, unfortunelty i forgot to take a photo of the model with the foil exposed. When it came to putting the teeth in as it was so far back inside the mouth I made a plain and make the inside all even distance, I then made small balls and started with the front top teeth and worked out, I made them more spread and gave it the shape of teeth, I then done the same with the bottom teeth. After i became hard i made the gaps within the teeth more visible with the scalpel. Next i will speak about the bands on the hair. Well these wasnt a easy as the teeth but still no major problems. What i has to do was use the scalpel to cut into the clay and made creases to make it more realistic and detailed. although the bands are made out of vines I wnted it to look more like a material creases. This took a while and I went around the head creating deep cuts then curving them out, at one point I approched Drew and asked him to give me advice to make the band look more realistic, he said about how it could remove the hair and head and remake it by wrapping a long piece of clay around itself, as I worked on the band for so long and didnt beleive it was 'that bad' to need be completely scrapped I kept it the same although i connected some of the cuts to make it look like it has been wrapped around. Other detail has been added like the not and horn on top has been crafted abit more. But this is where the model currently is.

The Progress Marathon #5
We are coming to the end of this marathon; my zbrush is almost finished! Going to skip into it.
So here is my current zBrush model.
Well firstly you might notice that the screenshots havent rotated aroudn the body like they normally do, this is because the work to get it to this milestone isnt that large to be noticed from a normal distance so I decided to zoom in on all the main parts and speak about them that way.
I will start from the top of the images to the bottom.
Firstly the top image is just a full body shot, this is to show how it is completely finished (not completely but for this stage) and how the amount of muscle definition and minor detail is consistant throughout. The next image is of the face, not much was done here but the head was too 'smooth' so I gave it a layer of detail within the eyes and also on the top of the head. the next image is one that also has little change but still chanes have been made. Within the hands there has been more detail added to allow the joints to be more noticable and also the palm of the hand has been made to look less smooth has it had no amount of detail at all. The images that continue after the hands is where the main of the bulk of work is. Here are the legs, before they had little detail on and although had some muscles was only marked there rough and as a reminder. More muscle has been added to the legs and the exposed bone has been made to look like the bone on the elbow, originally i wasnt able to pinch the model to give it the thin crease i was aiming for so i desided to see if the tool worked the next time I came to work and it did thankfully, also the foot, on the model the toes on the outter-facing side were sticking too high up so that was also corrected, detail was added on the foot but once again only a minimual amount. And finally the behind heel which as previously said was turned into 2 heels, well I increased the size of the inner heel, this was for astetic purposes only but the inside was choicen as a design choice as it allows me to say it is for balance or allows it to walk correctly. If you refer back to the top model you can see the muscles are very visible, this is because before I played around with the alphas and found it will cover an amount of detail so to counter this I over exadurated the muscles to allow them to still be visible ater the alphas have been put on.
And THAT is my current model.

TA-DA!
I know what the eyes sockets can be used for!
Vibration pads, thin layer of skin picks up vibrations, basically a large exposed ear drum. Havent researched into it too much so will have a post at a later date saying how it works and comparisions.

Physical Marathon #2
The Physical Marathon continues! There will also be a post tomorrow about this (but if you read the most recent first you have already seen it) This post is late, this isnt the current model i have but i forgot to take photos so here is a progression but not the most recent one, here is the model at its second last stage.
I got Jamie to model it :)
at this point i was happy with it, happy is used lightly.. i wasnt proud of the work but i knew it wasnt far from being at the stage where i was, the main imporvement from the last one is the addition of the hair. The hair here was done by making 3 strips and plating them, it has the same effect that the zBrush one does, I had to use 2 different stands to allow the hair to solidify in the position i wasnted to. the one dissapointment with the hair was that it was too thin at the room, the plait doesnt have a noticable size difference. i didnt notice this at the time but i tried to add form around the eye sockets bone but it looks like he is angry, fail.. I used a scalple to cut into the clay to make the hair strokes on the end and also the main hair.
